Vivat Jesus!
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic Men’s organization steeped in their commitment to Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. It was through the vision of its founder: Father Michael J. McGivney on March 29, 1882, the organization was chartered. The initial focus of this fledgling group was to help Catholic Men remain steadfast in their faith through mutual encouragement, to embellish close ties of fraternity and to establish a comprehensive system of affordable insurance to provide for widows and children, thus securing their future.
We are committed to the Pro-Life cause and providing unwavering support of vocations to the priesthood and religious life. In addition, the Knights of Columbus are widely known for their deep devotion to the Blessed Virgin.
From its humble beginnings of Father McGivney’s original group of a few parishioners, the Knights of Columbus have expanded into an international fraternity of over 1.7 million Catholic Men. They are a diverse group from different races which speak many languages, but they all have one common focus to support the teachings of the Catholic Church and serving the whole of mankind through Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.
We have supported the parish, debt reduction, the Men’s Fellowship and helped in landscaping around the Church. We serve as Fr. McEnhill’s right hand in service to our parish.
On behalf of Father Gerald McEnhill and Council 600, please join us, share with us, serve with us and become one of these men we call Knights.
