Ash Wednesday Is This Week – February 22, 2023

Hi All,

Ash Wednesday is this week, WOW! I want to give you some information about Ash Wednesday itself.

On Ash Wednesday the Mass schedule is as follows:

  • 6:30 am (no Music)
  • 8:15 am (Bp Quinn will be celebrating this Mass)
  • 7:00 pm

We will be distributing ashes throughout the day in the Gathering space of the Church from 9:15 am until 6:30 pm. You will not be able to “self-impose”. A member of the parish staff will be in the gathering space to distribute the ashes to anyone who arrives.

I am planning on a preaching series throughout the time of Lent. Each weekend will have a focus that will hopefully build to a conclusion. I am working on that at this time so I do not want to get into details. Once I finalize, which will be before Ash Wednesday, I will let you know, somehow, what the focus will be on.
