1st Intercessory Prayer Night

Evangelization Notes!

Last Tuesday night was our very 1st Intercessory Prayer Night at Our Lady of Refuge, and what a great night it was!

Christine Devine and Adora Ibrahim put together a beautiful, holy, meaningful, and truly prayerful hour of inspiration.

The format is not set in stone, but we began with Our Lady’s Rosary, offering each decade to a group that meets here at the parish: the Men’s and Women’s Fellowships, the Knights of Columbus, the St. Vincent de Paul society, the Alpha Course and in general the work of the New Evangelization here at Our Lady of Refuge.

Next month they’ll add the School and the Faith Formation Program and so on…

They introduced St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta’s 911 Novena. You have to come to hear all about it!!

We said the St. Benedict Novena Prayer for our parish family’s holiness, physical and spiritual growth and health, and we offered prayer for those whom we’ve made promises to pray, and for all those who have no one else to pray for them.

We followed up with Our Lady of Refuge Evangelization Prayer (which begins at all parish Masses this weekend, and we finished off with Val Whalen praying the beautiful “Prayer to Our Lady, Mother of the Eucharist”!

Come join us for more holy intercession the fourth Tuesday of each month @ 7pm in the Church!! Don’t miss the opportunity to pray with your parish family!

God bless your summer days!
