Our Worship Commission thanks all our many volunteers that assist in providing a welcoming and engaging Sunday experience! We want to especially thank those that spent hours in preparation for our Holy Week Celebrations!!! We are responsible for Altar Care, Altar Servers, Choir, Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, Technology during Masses, Funeral Mass Assistance, Weddings, Readers, Sacristans, and Ushers. We are always welcoming new volunteers to further enhance all our ministries.

This group works behind the scene to support the celebration, and we thank them. We are always looking for new team members and have 2-target areas for growth.

Eucharistic Ministers: At Communion, to bring back the Precious Blood, we need 7-Eucharistic Ministers per Mass. Please contact Stephanie if interested.

Ushers: We need a lead for each Mass and have a target of 8 per Mass. Please contact Oscar to help.

We will meet once per month on the last Wednesday of the month, and are flexible regarding evening meeting hours or afternoon meeting hours, depending upon your schedule!

Following is our Mission Statement:

The Discipleship Formation Commission plans for the overall parish Christian formation by addressing the educational and formational needs in the areas of adult faith formation, family life, and youth ministry. We will focus on the educational needs which promote the Catholic Christian formation of the parish family.

Altar Care is a ministry that is essential and very behind the scene. We will be meeting on Tuesdays in the evening at 7pm weekly to offer our beautiful worship space some tender loving care. Pew racks need to be straightened, cobwebs removed from our statuary, pictures and furniture dusted. Clearing out of old reading materials left in the narthex and book racks. Cleaning and filling our holy water fonts and sacred vessels. This takes an hour or less depending on the number of hands available.
