Voice of Monsignor McEnhill – February 14th

We begin the holy season of Lent this Wednesday, February 17th as we observe Ash Wednesday.

Archbishop Vigneron is calling all Catholics to return to regular attendance at Sunday Mass. What better way is there to do this than to make a commitment to enter into the spirit of Lent and renew our Love and dedication to our God as we strive with God’s help to overcome our faults and failings.

We all need to break out from this pandemic and gradually return to all that we use to do. At the top of this list of priorities should be our attendance at Mass and using the Holy Eucharist for our growth in faith. I invite you, I urge you to come to church on Ash Wednesday and begin this holy journey and renewal on the way to Easter Sunday.

Ashes will be distributed at Mass at 8:15am in the morning, at a scripture prayer service at 4:00pm and at a Mass in the evening at 7:30pm. Do come. You will be glad you did. I wish all of you a holy and a spiritually fuLfilling Lenten season.

Msgr. Gerald McEnhill
