AOD – The official web site of the Archdiocese of Detroit contains extensive information about the our archdiocese, supporting information for parishes, schools, being Catholic, and many ministries of the AOD.

Ave Maria Radio (AM 990) – A listener-supported non-profit radio station that uses news, analysis and teaching to communicate the good news that Jesus is Lord over all areas of life.  Live talk shows allow listeners to call in with questions.  Daily Mass, Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy provide opportunities for personal prayer.  Pre-recorded discussions and teachings on theology, apologetics and inspirational living are regularly scheduled. Connect via radio or – The internet footprint of Catholic Answers, an organization dedicated to explaining and defending the faith.  It is a useful tool for apologetics providing resources, books, DVDs, forums and the means to search the largest database of Catholic Answers.  It is also sponsor of the Chastity Project, an outreach project that promotes abstinence and devoted to the beautiful truth of the Catholic Church’s teaching on human sexuality. – Catholic Online is the world’s Catholic library and provides basic information on many Catholic topics.  Viewers can browse by category such as: Saints & Angels, Prayers, the Bible, News, and Calendar.  Information and resources are also available on basic Catholic teachings. – Source for free Catholic books, CD’s and booklets.  This website also provides free search access to many Catholic resources including the Catechism of the Catholic Church, The Baltimore Catechism, Catholic Encyclopedia, Voting Guides and links to many other Catholic resources. – Home of the program Defenders of the Catholic Faith hosted by Stephen Ray, convert to the Catholic Church in 1994, this website is dedicated to defending the doctrines and supremacy of the Catholic Church.  This apostolate arose from the inspirational story of his family’s search for truth that eventually led them to the Catholic Church.  The site provides sound apologetics for those seeking to defend the faith through testimony, discussion, resources, events and pilgrimages. – The mission of Catholic Vote is to educate and inspire Americans of all faiths to prioritize the issue of life, faith and family.  It acknowledges the authority of the Magisterium but operates independent of the Catholic Church.  The Loop provides a quick daily rundown of what is happening in the news. – Daily Catholic Wisdom provides a snippet of Catholic thought every morning from literary giants, beloved saints and relevant voices from today.  Read it in 60 seconds, live it out the rest of the day.  Must sign up to receive this service. – A website for Christian culture that’s fun, informative and inspirational.  It provides articles, games, quizzes, and more.  Churchpop is part of the EWTN network.

CTND (ch. 398) – On air since 1985, the Catholic Television Network of Detroit (CTND) is the official Catholic broadcast from the Archdiocese of Detroit.  Access to Daily & Sunday Mass, the Rosary, The Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Morning & Evening Divine Office provide opportunities for personal prayer.  Programming is broad with shows available for children, women and the elderly.  Topics include theology, the journey of faith, the bible, inspirational stories and Catholic history. EWTN – Founded in 1981, the EWTN (The Eternal Word Television Network) Global Catholic Network is dedicated to teaching the truth as defined by the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church.  In keeping with the Holy Father’s call for a New Evangelization, EWTN’s mission is to communicate the teachings and the beauty of the Catholic Church and to help people grow in their love and understanding of God and his infinite mercy. Ignatian Spirituality – Provides information and teachings of Saint Ignatius of Loyala and training about Ignatian Spirituality. Loyola Press – Provides books and multimedia products that facilitate transformative experiences of God, in the spirit of Saint Ignatius of Loyola who points us always to personal relationship with Jesus Christ. – Lists Catholic Churches for a location such as a city, state, or zip code. This web site is a great tool for finding Catholic Masses when you are traveling, and provides directions to the Church. – A trusted source for reliable, timely and relevant Catholic news and information. Published biweekly, it provides a perspective on the news of the day as seen through the eyes of the Magisterium.  It is the oldest national Catholic newspaper in the United States founded in 1927 as the National Edition of the Denver Catholic Register.  In addition to the news that its readers need and expect, the Register also includes edifying feature articles on such topics as the Culture of life, Catholic education, books, arts & entertainment, Catholic travel and its award-winning Person interview series. Our Sunday Visitor – – Our Sunday Visitor is a Roman Catholic publishing company that provides the American national weekly newspaper of the same name.  It also provides Catholic periodicals, religious books, pamphlets, catechetical materials and inserts for parish bulletins.  Our Sunday Visitor informs Catholics about issues and events confronting the Church and the world, helping them see the world through eyes of faith.

Regnum Christi – Regnum Christi (Latin for “Kingdom of Christ”) is one Movement (within the Catholic Church) comprised of four vocations: Legionaries of Christ (the priestly congregation), Consecrated Women of Regnum ChristiLay Consecrated Men of Regnum Christi and the Lay Members of Regnum Christi. Provides current events information including Catholic News and a large amount of material from United States Catholic Bishops.– Provides Bible studies focused for adult women, young adult women, and middle school girls. –Bishop Robert Barron’s Word on Fire Catholic Ministries is a nonprofit global media apostolate that reaches out to people to draw them into – or back to – the Catholic faith.  It is evangelical and proclaims that Jesus Christ is the source of conversion and new life.  To be most effective in this mission Word on Fire places an emphasis and urgency on the use of contemporary forms of media and innovative communication technologies.  It offers online videos, homilies, articles, a blog, DVD’s and study programs.
