MUSIC MINISTRY BULLETIN NOTES:  October 6th

The Psalm today is the “Wedding Psalm,” which is a blessing to a new family. There are several references in the Psalms in which we ask the Lord to bless the work of our hands. That is the bargain in family life and really in our faith life: We labor with our hands and then we ask God to bless our work and make it fruitful. To the God of creation we are like the little kid that shadows his parent with a toy lawnmower. God does the heavy lifting of creating, but our work is also important to us for our own development as well as the good of our family and community. 





Mark your calendars! We will be having an Advent-Christmas Concert 
on Sunday December 15 at 4 PM in the church. Reception in the 
Social Hall will follow.





The parish is selling a beautiful six-foot Boston baby grand piano for $3,500.  At a retail store this piano would sell for over $11,000, and wholesale price is just above $5,500.  This piano has contributed to a rich history of thousands of liturgies and the prayers of our parish.  Contact Tim Smith anytime if you are interested.
